New Life Personal Training – Change of Though Patterns
In the world today many people are blaming bad luck for why they’re not living the life they have imagined. “Yeah he got damn lucky. Wish I had that luck in my life. Guess I’ll just wait and see what happens… Maybe one day I’ll get to see my dreams fulfilled.” WRONG.
NOTHING comes for free in this world, and golden opportunities are rarely just handed to you. If you want something, you have to go and get it. How do you go and get what you want? It doesn’t start by your actions… It starts in your head. In order to get what you want, you have to change your thought patterns.
Sometimes you have to turn 180 degrees around in the way you think.
I’m putting such a huge emphasis on this because EVERYTHING originates from what’s going on in your mind. You have to get this…
Thoughts lead on to purpose, purpose leads on to actions, actions form habits, habits decide character, and character fixes our destiny.
I PROMISE YOU, I am where I am today because of this revelation. One day it dawned on me: “What’s stopping me from getting from point A to W is my thought patterns. I need to change them.” It was kind of like going from obese to getting into single digits body fat. It didn’t happen overnight. It took a lot of time. But it’s worth putting in that time, because once you’ve created a healthy mind, you can literally start creating what you want and get a new life personal training.
Now, what is a self-destructing mindset? It’s when you let negative experiences become your reality. Thoughts like: “I knew this would happen. I’m so stupid. I’ll never win. I’ll never get there. They hate me. I wish I was as smart as him.” Thinking this way is a sure recipe for 100% failure. I can testify to it.
Okay, so maybe you did lose that power lifting contest. Your presentation didn’t go the way you’d planned. You failed the seemingly most important exam in your life.
Point is, regardless of what life throws at you, choose not to let them define who you are. Choose not to dwell on what went wrong, but rather on what you can change to get better. One of my favorite quotes is by Muhammad Ali and goes like this: “I am the greatest, I said that even before I knew I was.” 2 years ago I had the dream to get a new life personal training and started telling myself this every day. I told myself I had things that in reality I didn’t possess yet. Sure enough, I started seeing them one by one become reality.
I want to challenge you today to start doing the same.
How do you develop a healthy mindset? By constantly re-enforcing positive thoughts about yourself and your surroundings. Even when you don’t feel like it, or when you really should have no “good reason” to. It’s going to be a fight you’ll have to battle daily. Just make sure to win it.
New Life Personal Training – Ask
Think about how many opportunities you might be missing out on by simply not ASKING for it. It’s easy to think “it’s never happened before, why would they say yes to me?” or “I’m just not skilled enough, all these other people are more qualified than me, so what’s the point of even asking”. If you really want a new life personal training YOU MUST have the courage to dare to ASK for what you want. If you don’t possess this trait, go back and read my previous point “Change of thought patterns”.
When I decided on a new life personal training I took a step forward and dared to ask Rachel Cosgrove to intern at Results Fitness. They’d never had someone intern before JUST to intern, so that could have been a factor for me to not ask. “Why would they say yes anyway.
They’re running the best gym in the states, they haven’t had anyone intern for the sake of interning before, why would they say yes to ME? I’m not half as smart as the rest of the fitness community.” But this is where the change of thought patterns came in. Because I had trained my mind to think positively about myself and every situation, I took a chance and asked. A couple of days later I was speaking with the manager, Cameron, for further information about my “3 month internship”.
New Life Personal Training – Willingness to Put in the Time
Don’t think everything is just going to be handed to you. You will get the opportunities by ASKING for them, but it doesn’t end there. When you get the door opened to you, you actually have to be willing to put in the time and effort needed to WALK THROUGH that door…
I worked my A$$ off for 6 months to be able to afford the 3 month internship at Results Fitness and start my new life personal training. Double shifts, 16 hour days.. Not as a trainer, but at a job I absolutely HATED. It wasn’t always easy, but I knew my hard work would pay off in the end. It did.
New Life Personal Training – Let Go
It’s true what they say: You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. You may have noticed how fat people always stick together? The same goes for internet game players, science people, millionaires, billionaires…
Who do you currently surround yourself with? What does your life look like right now? If you don’t like what you see, I’m encouraging you to change up your inner circle of friends.
This one can be very hard to deal with, as most of us have, or have had crabs in our lives. But it’s one of those things that will change the way you do life, and in many cases turn your whole world around. Your friends just might be the reason why you haven’t opened up your business yet. Or on the flip side, they might be a part of how you gathered the strength to break out of your shell and do it.
So Get Out There and Get your New Life Personal Training
In order to get what you want, you need to before anything have develop a strong mindset.
When that’s infiltrated in you, everything you’ll face in life becomes much easier to tackle.
Ask for what you want with a confidence that you indeed will get it.
When you have a clear vision and that door is opened to you, you need to work right and hard in order to get to your final destination. Don’t think you’ll get anything for free.
And last but not least, you need to let go of all the bad influences you have in your life.
By doing all this, you will notice those wants and dreams that once seemed so far away are not so out of reach anymore. Only then are you ready to embark on your new life personal training
