There’s a hidden respect in the gym. It’s hard to describe. But anybody who goes there often enough feels it. Perhaps it's because every single person in there is doing something hard. Something that, in the short-team, is unnecessary. Every person in the gym has other stuff to do that's more immediately pressing. You know what I mean? External pressures: work, email, whatever. But here they are; in the gym; struggling. And for what? Just to be more tired and more sore today in the hopes that it'll make them more strong for whatever the future brings.
