I hope you had a great past few weeks. On my end, it's been busy. In addition to the holidays, I've relocated with my family to Bali for three months. My kids will be in school here until April at which point we'll move to Japan for another three months. It will be a quieter season, one full of family and fitness.

On to what's new:

Next, here are a few short thoughts this week.

Money

1

"I’ve long been interested in exploring the strange ways people spend their lives. You only live once, so how we choose to fill our precious days—what to do with your time on earth until the sand runs out—is one of the most interesting questions there is to answer."

-Mark Medley

2

"The extra two seconds you take to approach somebody with a smile, shake his hand, give him a compliment, ask how he is doing, and wish him a good day could be all of the marketing that you’ll ever need."

-From Ignite the Fire: The Secrets to a Successful Personal Training Career

Health

1

Getting in shape is a psychological process disguised as a physical one.

2

Fitness is not everything but it does help with everything.

Relationships

"I try always to pick a book far over his head and read it as a basis for questions and answers, rather than without interruption. I read a sentence or two, wait for him to come up with his usual barrage of questions, answer them, then read another sentence or two. Classics read well this way. They must be written this way. Sometimes we have spent a whole evening reading and talking and discovered we have only covered two or three pages. It’s a form of reading done a century ago ..."

-Robert M. Pirsig

A Blueprint: 55 Ways to Get Online Fitness Clients in 2026

Most coaches don’t struggle because they’re bad coaches.

They struggle because they have no predictable way to get clients.

-They rely on referrals.

-They post random content and hope for the best.

-They wait for their inbox to magically fill.

-They jump between strategies every few days.

-They spend all their energy serving current clients and none on acquiring new ones.

I just put together the complete 2026 Client Acquisition Blueprint. (Get it here.)

Inside you’ll get the 4C Framework: Content that brings people to you. Conversations that start relationships. Calls that convert interest into commitment. Client systems that keep people and build referrals.

Plus 55 plug-and-play tactics, DM scripts, story polls, reel ideas, weekly action plans, and the exact checklist we use to keep lead flow consistent.

This is built for coaches who already have clients, already have proof of concept, and are tired of guessing. You don’t need more ideas. You need a consistent method.

Pick 5 actions from the list. Repeat them weekly for 30 days. Track what works. Remove what doesn’t. Double down on the winners.
