Moving on, here are 2 fitness concepts, 2 business nuggets, and a quote to consider this week.
2 Coaching Concepts
The key to building a fit body isn't fad diets or six-pack shortcuts––it's to consistently execute on a 'good enough' routine for a long enough time.
The problem is that it takes a long time.
Once initial excitement wears off and the day-to-day routine sits in, boredom often leads to procrastination which leads to a search for a 'better' way.
Instead of trying to crush it every day, set the goal to never have a 'zero day.
A 'zero' day is when you don't move at all.
Even a short walk is better than nothing.
Over time, the non-zero days that would have otherwise been zero days add up.
2 Business Nuggets
How your product or service works doesn’t matter. What your thing does doesn’t matter. What matters is what somebody wants to become as a result of what you do. And Everybody’s wants are different.
Sell them what they want and give them what they need. They need your product or service; they want the results of it.
“It’s rare to listen to somebody in totality.” Says Julian Treasure, a sound and communication expert. “Giving somebody your full attention is the greatest gift you can give to another person.”
Listen with curiosity. Your intent is to understand, not reply or impress.
1 Quote to Consider
“Ask for money and get advice
“As for advice, get money twice.”
