The Top Article of the Week
“How do I get more clients?” is the number one question asked by personal trainers. Unsurprisingly, the reason they struggle with building up their client base…is the same reason they struggle with anything else.
They don’t specialize. They’re trying to do everything for everyone, at all times. Just like this hinders their effectiveness as coaches, so too it hinders their effectiveness as marketers. To be fair, it isn’t all their fault. Every time they log into Facebook, they see another (unsuccessful) marketing guru telling them that they won’t be successful unless they add yet another lead catcher. As a result, these trainers lose sight of the fact that they don’t need 20 different systems for getting clients. They don’t even need 10. Not 5. Not even 3. What they need is one single system that works (credit: Jon Goodman). In other words, they need to specialize.
In this week’s top article, Ryan Ketchum lays out how your decision to specialize will boost both your value and your profits. Get crackin’.
