Jessica Gjertsen CSCS currently works at Body & Soul Fitness in Toronto, Canada as a personal trainer. Jessica is also the Director of Lifestyle Renovations Inc., specializing in Total Fitness and Lifestyle Programming, Nutritional Coaching, Private Chef and Cooking Instruction.
Jessica completed her Bachelors degree majoring in Kinesiology at the University of Connecticut with a minor in Sport Nutrition. She continued to follow her passion for Nutrition and Health while attending Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco, CA.
At UCONN she was a member of the Division 1 Women’s soccer team and helped lead the team to multiple conference titles, as well as a second place finish in 2004 National Championship Finals. Jessica started her soccer career at the university of Memphis where she was named Conference USA’s Freshman of the Year. She also played in the WPSL for the New England Mutiny and remained on the All Star Team 2002-2005.
Her love of sport and healthy living began at a very young age. Currently she’s giving back and sharing her passion teaching young girls soccer and dryland hockey fitness. Jess deals with clients of all ages and backgrounds, she believes in helping people achieve their goals and lead a healthy life.
