Very active in sports throughout his youth, Dan’s real passion for fitness started in his late 20’s. He found himself completely out of shape, with over 50 pounds to lose. Through research, dedication and hard work, Dan met his own fitness goals. And he didn’t stop there. Dan went on to become an expert at helping others reach their goals.
Dan’s specialty is his integrated approach to body composition transformation. He uses a combination of strength training, nutritional strategies and energy system work. This approach has allowed him to help clients lose fat, gain muscle and get in the best shape of their lives. Dan Trink has also helped professional athletes and enthusiastic amateurs prepare for competitions ranging from professional boxing matches…to MMA fights.. to triathlons. Dan has also been published in several leading health and fitness magazines and major websites.
Dan is passionate in his dedication to continuing education. His myriad skills include: movement analysis and corrective strategies, sandbag training, olympic weightlifting, nutritional counseling, and supplement strategies.He has also worked with many special needs clients including cancer survivors, chemotherapy patients, fybromyalgia sufferers, physical rehabilitation patients and those battling high blood pressure.
Finally, Dan manages a staff of over 50 trainers at Peak Performance in New York City, repeatedly voted one of the Top 10 Gyms in America by Men’s Health Magazine and is the author of High-Intensity 300 published by Human Kinetics in 2014.
