The Personal Trainer Development Center operates as an independent organization with the support of hundreds of contributors each year. That said, there are a few independent advisors who have been especially helpful. These are the people we turn to whenever we have a question that needs answering.
Jonathan Goodman is the creator of the PTDC. He is the author of several books on personal training and creator of the first-ever certification in Online Training (Online Trainer Academy). Originally from Toronto, Jon and his wife Alison spend their winters traveling the world.
Neghar teaches women that exercise and nutrition should enrich your life, not detract from it. She (founder of Eat, Lift, &, be happy) is a fitness and lifestyle coach, speaker, entrepreneur, veteran, and mom. She has been in the fitness industry for 14 years, and continues to educate and inspire others to be the fittest, happiest version of themselves.
Brad Schoenfeld, PhD., CSCS, is an internationally renowned fitness expert and best-selling author widely regarded as one of the world's leading authorities on body composition training (muscle development and fat loss).

Dean Somerset, CSCS, a personal trainer and post-rehab specialist in Edmonton, Alberta, is owner of Somerset Fitness Ltd. He has a degree in kinesiology from the University of Alberta and is certified by the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He’s written articles for The PTDC as well as T-Nation and Bodybuilding.com, and contributed to Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Shape, Men’s Fitness, and many other magazines and websites.
