Personal trainers. Don’t you hate marketing and sales. Cold calling leads, giving away free assessments, knocking on doors or the dreaded hour meeting with a lead praying that they finally “get” what you’re trying to say.

I’ve spoken a lot about Facbeook marketing before, many of you should have read the free eBook by now. Social media is the most powerful tool at your fingertips. Fitness is perfectly primed for social media for a couple of reasons:

1. It allows you to sell your value to potential clients before you ever meet them.

2. Emotion drives action. People online want to show off that they are attractive. Sending around fitness advice or others (i.e. you, their trainer) telling them how awesome they’re doing helps them selectively self-represent.

But how do you get messages to spread?

Maybe you already have a blog or website and are frustrated by the lack of visitors. Even if you don’t have a website what if I were to tell you that every lead you will ever need is already on your Facebook friend list.

You just have to learn how to a) find them. b) convince them of your value c) give them a reason to tell their world why you’re awesome and d) give them a reason to take action.

This is why I created Viralnomics (which is 100% free)

Conventional social media advice sucks

Consider that whatever can be measured can be packaged and sold easier. Conventional social media advice will teach you how to optimize your page or tell you that YOU MUST USE the latest software.

I don’t care about any of that.

I have built a system that anybody can use for any industry to create viral messages based on the psychology of the end user. Not viral in the conventional sense though, viral in the Viralnomics sense (well ok I made that word up but I think it sounds pretty sweet). That is why I created Viralnomics.

Allow me to explain.

Social networks leave marketers with two MASSIVE opportunities:

1. People have built trust networks around themselves already.
2. People go to social media to shut off their minds.

Everybody online wants to show off to their trust network that they are intelligent, intellectual, attractive, and funny.

That’s why the system is primed perfectly. If you can help people selectively self-represent the way they want they will go out of the way to spread your message

Viralnomics is a book I am writing entirely online

As I finish a section I will publish it 100% free. I will also make it available via a .pdf for ease of reading and publish my resources if you want more info on a topic.

The book will teach you everything you need to know to make users go out of their way to market for you. It’s powerful. What you will learn how to do is implant ideas into your audiences head and have them want to share it as an extension of their own thoughts.

The website just launched and I’m excited to share it with you. You’re different and better and you deserve to be heard. Viralnomics will turn you into the fitness expert.

To launch the website I have published the 3,000+ word introduction (don’t worry, it’s also a .pdf so you can download, print and read it). I’ll also be blogging throughout the process of writing the book as I live in Hawaii. I’m constantly asked what goes into writing a book so I won’t hold anything back.

I’ll be writing about my struggles, successes, experiences, and anything I learn along the way. That and maybe posting videos of me struggling to learn how to play the Ukelele. (Yeah — that’s happening.)

So check out the site and read the first posts. I can’t wait to hear what you think and also see you all applying the concepts.

Viralnomics – How to Create Directed Viral Marketing

P.s. If you know anybody that wants to learn more about social media or has an interest in social media I have a request. Please forward this email, send them a link to the site, or download the .pdf of the introduction and email it to them. This book will span all industries so don’t worry if they aren’t involved in the fitness world. Thank you in advance.
